The exhibition was held July 1-18, 2008 and was juried by Elisabeth Sussman, Curator of the Whitney Museum.

Viridian Artists itself has a storied history. The gallery began on Long Island in the 60’s and then migrated to Soho as the Second Story Spring Gallery. In the late 1970s, it moved to 57th Street – at that time the “hub of the art world. Viridian Artists remained at that location for the next 25 years, until it moved to Chelsea, to the “now” art world. It has maintained a strong and unique presence there with artists from New York to California, and from as far away as Japan, Europe and Korea.

Viridian exhibits a broad range of original and innovative work that meets the highest standards. Viridian Artists are shown internationally in Japan and France, and nationally in venues as diverse as Chicago, Denver and Westchester, NY.

The gallery is located at 530 West 25th Street between 10th & 11th Avenues in the Chelsea area.
