“DIFFUSION” CHOSEN FOR BOWERY ’09 COMPETITION
NEW YORK, NY (July 25, 2009) – Sholeh’s 2009 painting “Diffusion” was selected for inclusion in the 17th Annual Bowery Gallery National Competition.Created by a group of prominent Manhattan artists in October, 1969, the Bowery Gallery is one of the oldest galleries in New York City and is now located in Chelsea. Its annual exhibition is one of the most prestigious and competitive juried shows in the country.
World renowned painter Paul Resika was the juror for the exhibition, which was held July 28 through August 15, 2009 at the Bowery Gallery, located at 530 West 25th Street.
The opening was held on Thursday July 30, from 5 to 8 PM.
